K-State Dance Marathon Saturday, April 7
Join K-State Dance Marathon, a registered student organization, from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex for food, competitions, raffle prizes, Miracle children, Zumba and live music — including a performance from Eric Lyn Copeland from NBC's The Voice.
Dance Marathon is a national philanthropic cause sweeping across college campuses everywhere raising money for local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In fact, more than 350 schools have a Dance Marathon program, and Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropy in the entire nation.
Registration is a $20 donation and all proceeds go directly toward helping the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Stormont Vail in Topeka.
K-State Dance Marathon also is a partner of Greek Week. For every $5 raised by Greeks, that chapter will receive a point toward the Greek Week competition. That means if you cannot attend the event, you can just give a $5 donation to the cause.
The deadline to register for the event and get a T-shirt is Friday, April 6, but you can register up until April 7. Register or donate online.
Thank you to Dance Marathon's partners: Union Program Council, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, All-University Open House, K-State's Rec Complex, Greek Week committee and Stormont Vail Health.
