Union Program Council addresses subject no one wants to talk about
Why won’t anyone talk about suicide? Catch “Don’t Change the Subject,” a film that addresses the subject of suicide and why it isn’t discussed in society.
Sponsored by Union Program Council, "Don’t Change the Subject," will be shown at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom. After the film, Mike Stutz, director and featured actor, will speak about the making of the dark comedy. A panel discussion will follow Stutz’s presentation and will feature Lafene Health Center and LGBT Resource Center staff as well as an individual whose life has been impacted by suicide.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information and a complete list of all Union Program Council activities, visit k-state.edu/upc or call the Union Program Council office at 785-532-6571.
