Agronomy professor engages in United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
Chuck Rice, university distinguished professor of agronomy, attended a working session of the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, Nov. 5-9 in Vigo, Spain.
Rice is a lead author of the agriculture and forestry chapter of the panel's 5th Assessment Report, which has 14 chapters in all. Lead authors in all three working groups of the AR5 report are currently evaluating thousands of review comments for all chapters.
