K-State researchers recruiting LGBTQ+ participants
The Brase lab studies reasoning and decision making about real life decisions. Right now, the lab is conducting a few studies concerning how people perceive others and use that information to inform their dating decisions.
Previous research has focused almost exclusively on heterosexual dating decisions, and our lab is seeking to expand the research to include non-heterosexual samles. We are looking to recruit LGBTQ+ participants for our next study, especially men and women who are exclusively gay or lesbian. The study is a low risk, easy-to-complete online survey that will be kept completely private and anonymous. Studies like this that include and focus on LGBTQ+ populations benefit both the LGBTQ+ community and society as a whole by adding to our knowledge and understanding of the community. Plus, each participant will be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card. If you have questions about the study, you can contact Nora Balboa at nbalboa@k-state.edu or Gary Brase at gbrase@k-state.edu.
