Virtual well-being professional development available for free to K-State faculty, staff and students
As part of K-State's commitment to becoming a health-promoting university, faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in a complimentary virtual professional development opportunity titled "Well-Being in Higher Education: Raising Literacy and Advancing the Conversation," scheduled to take place from Feb. 26-March 1.
This event is sponsored by NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, in collaboration with more than 20 other professional organizations dedicated to higher education.
"Bringing awareness and forward movement to enhanced well-being in higher education needs to be a priority," said Sally Linton, chair of K-State's Committee for a Health-Promoting University and First Lady. "Faculty, staff, students and stakeholders can all benefit from a university that prioritizes balance in work and life."
The event's closing panel, "Elevating Well-being in Higher Education: Strategies, Successes and the Path Forward," will feature Kathleen Hatch, Morrison family associate vice president for student well-being.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to explore further details and register for this event. If you are currently a NASPA member, please use your existing membership login. If not, you can create a login for this event at no charge.
