Carl R. Ice College of Engineering to host Engineering Design Showcase
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering is inviting community members to attend its Engineering Design Showcase from 1-4 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the engineering complex atriums.
This inaugural event will exhibit senior design projects from various disciplines across the College of Engineering and offer a unique opportunity for industry professionals and community members to explore the creativity and problem-solving skills of K-State engineering students.
"Our seniors have been hard at work utilizing their expertise to solve real-world problems as part of this capstone experience," said Paul Snider, professor of practice in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering. "This event is a great opportunity to get an up-close view of these innovative projects, but is also a way to celebrate with many of them as they close the book on their time at K-State."
Participants will have the chance to interact with students and learn about their projects while also exploring potential collaboration opportunities and networking with faculty members and industry representatives in attendance.
