Faculty Senate requesting volunteers for additional committees
Dear Colleagues,
Thank you to those who volunteered for Faculty Senate committees recently. Those are still being reviewed. We are also looking for faculty members and professional staff members to serve on the Out of State Fees Appeals Committee, and tenured faculty for the Integrity in Research and Scholarly Activity Committee.
We need four volunteers for the first committee and seven tenured faculty for the second.
Faculty Senate is asked to recommend appointments for these committees, with the final selection being made by committee oversight. The length of term will be either two or three years.
If you have an interest in serving, please email candacebk-state.edu by Friday, May 17, and provide your position, whether faculty — and tenured or not — or unclassified staff, and your department. Please also indicate if you are available over the summer.
