Powercat Financial — the money and student connection

Submitted by Shelley Griffin

Being part of Kansas State University means that students can find support for all facets of their personal well-being, including their personal finances.

You can meet with a Powercat Financial peer-to-peer counselor to create an education financial plan, discuss building credit, understand your student loans, put together a personalized budget and even review and compare job offers. We also provide educational support on these topics via presentations to classes and organizations.

Powercat Financial's new executive director, Kate Mielitz, also known as "Dr. M," is focused on ensuring that students can more easily have money conversations — in the classroom, at home and with friends. Powercat Financial's peer-to-peer financial counseling is approaching its 15th year of supporting students and their financial questions. Set up your personal appointment using Navigate, contact us for a presentation or even stop by to get to know how we can help.

Also, please check out the latest blog post for a message from Mielitz.
