Gardiner Global Food Systems conference, lecture taking place today
The inaugural Henry C. Gardiner Global Food Systems conference, highlighting former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns, takes place from noon to 4 p.m. today, Oct. 7, in the K-State Alumni Center.
Also, scientist Peer Ederer will present the annual Henry C. Gardiner Global Food Systems lecture tonight at 7 p.m. in McCain Auditorium. Ederer's topic is "Scientific Evidence Behind the Role of Livestock and Meat Production in a Global Society."
Both events are free and open to the public.
