We would rather prevent crimes than report them; action on your part will decrease the numbers we must report!
Did you know that in 2010 alcohol-related violations occurred more often than all other crimes combined? Alcohol and other substance abuse problems affect friendships, finances, and your future -- but help is available.

K-Staters need to stay safe off-campus, too. K-State's Women's Center, Fort Riley, Aggieville Business Association, K-State student government, and Manhattan city government meet to discuss ways to make Aggieville a safer place. The Kansas State University Annual Security Reports for the Manhattan and Salina campuses include statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus, certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by K-State, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campuses.
The reports include institutional policies concerning campus security, such as the policy prohibiting sexual violence, as well as safety tips and details on reporting crimes.
