Conclusions
We have reached the conclusion of the DearNeighbors: A Course on Helping. I wish I could personally thank you for the time and effort you have invested in this experience.
                                             
Ultimately, effective helping is more than technique. Good listening and effective caring can become our natural way of relating to others. We all need each other for we all have stories to tell. As we share that story, we want others to take us seriously.

The capacity to feel another's pain, to transform it and give it meaning by sharing what we hear, see, and understand to be true is a powerful force for personal growth. The Roadmap to Helping identifies the key skills for each phase.
