Self-esteem is widely viewed as feeling good about oneself or holding
oneself in high regard. Since it’s prominence in the late
twentieth century, researchers and educators have recently begun
to question whether this notion of self-esteem is truly predictive
of positive social outcomes.

on this issue. Does
your definition of self-esteem focus on feeling good about oneself?
