Person
Children are born into the world with a unique set of qualities
and characteristics that define them as individual persons.
These
qualities or characteristics make children unique and cannot
be changed. They are present at birth and remain relatively consistent
throughout our lives. These enduring qualities establish some
consistency
between childhood and adulthood. In many ways we are different
from the children we once were. But in other ways, we continue
to be essentially the same people throughout our lives.
