Children are not born with self-respect. Every child needs a loving gardener. A child whose life begins on barren ground will wither and ultimately pass from this earth as an unhappy person who brought misery to others. Yet this tragedy could have been averted. Every child is an opportunity for mankind to renew itself by strengthening its soul.
