Tool
#31. Contract
Definition:
Allow children to do what they want to do only after finishing what they
have to do. The desirable activity becomes an incentive for completing
a more difficult, unpleasant task. This is called Grandmother's Rule.
Examples:
Terry
(10 years), you can watch television after you do your homework.
Cindy
(11 years), you can go out with your friends after you clean up your room. |
