Tool
#49. Ground the child
Definition:
If children understand that they have misbehaved, restrict them to home
or yard for a reasonable length of time.
Example:
Joe
(11 years) knows he is supposed to ride his bike across heavy traffic only
at the traffic light. After his parents see him pedaling across heavy traffic
in the middle of the block, they decide to take his bike away for one full
week. |
