Priority Mail is a 2 to 3 day service in the United States that is not guaranteed. Priority Mail going internationally is generally delivered between 6 to 10 days, without any guarantee. Please note that Postal Rules & Regulations are different for every country.

What is the cost?
The cost of Priority Mail starts at $4.90 then increases by weight and distance. The farther the distance away the package has to travel and the heavier the package, the more expensive the postage is.
What is the weight and size criteria?
Priority Mail can be NO heavier than 70 pounds and NO more than 108 inches in combined length and girth. If using a Flat Rate Envelope or a Small Flat Rate Box the weight limit is 4 pounds. The weight limit for International Priority Flat rate, Regular boxes and Large boxes is 20 pounds.
Does the KSU Contract Post Office have Priority Mail Packaging?
The United States Postal Services provides Priority Mail boxes for your convenience. The KSU Contract Post Office has boxes available. All the boxes available are listed above. The KSU Contract Post Office has Both Flat Rate and Regular boxes.
What does Flat Rate Priority Mail mean?
The USPS provides Priority packaging. They also provide Flat Rate packaging. If you are shipping a package to a destination that is far away, weighs more than 13 ounces and less than 70 pounds, Flat Rate may be right for you. However, if you are using a Flat Rate box and Regular Priority mail is cheaper, you still must pay the Flat Rate. The USPS does provide packaging that is Non-Flat Rate. At the KSU Contract Post Office we are always able to weigh your package and help you to choose packaging before you ship it. Remember, we do need the six digit zip code of where the package is going. If you know the weight of your package and the zip code feel free to call and ask how much the package will cost to ship.
Can Priority Mail go internationally?
The answer to that question is yes. Mail going internationally can only go First Class, Priority, Express, and M-Bag. Customs forms are required on all Priority Mail regardless of weight. Flat rate boxes can go internationally, however the Flat Rate is different than domestic. Does the Post Office offer discounts for shipping to United States Military?
Yes, we have Flat Rate boxes that are for APO/FPO’s only. When shipping care packages to our Military personnel, you can save $2.00 by using an APO/FPO Flat Rate box. The box features the “America Supports You” logo and an APO/FPO addressing block. This is pictured above along with its price and dimensions. Just remember that shipping to an APO/FPO you must have the 2976-A, six part custom form. Please read and follow all directions when shipping to our Military personnel.
Can other services be used with Priority Mail?
