Maldonado Franzen presents at regional conference

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Roberta Maldonado Franzen, director of talent solutions for Human Capital Services, presented at the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, or CUPA-HR, Spring Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Maldonado Franzen presented on the topic "Laying the Foundation for a Diverse and Inclusive Workforce." In her session she shared her experience and involvement in the recruitment of a highly talented, diverse workforce as well as promotion of a welcoming and inclusive environment. She is a certified diversity and inclusion recruiter and shared her knowledge on how to actively source diverse candidates through organizations, universities, companies and social networking.

The Spring Conference is the only 2018 event hosted by CUPA-HR's Midwest and Western Regions. It is an opportunity to connect with human resources colleagues in higher education and dive in to some of the most pressing HR topics on campus.

Maldonado Franzen will co-facilitate a training with Cleo Magwaro, deputy EEO coordinator/senior investigator, on campus on June 21, "Resources to Attract a Highly Talented, Diverse Workforce." University employees are encouraged to enroll through HRIS Self-Enrollment.
