K-State's Ebony Theatre hosts First Friday May 4
From 7-8 p.m. Friday, May 4, Ebony Theatre will host First Friday in the Sandy Chastan Lobby of The Purple Masque Theatre in West Stadium. This month's program will be an end-of-semester celebration.
Ebony Theatre's First Fridays give a variety of performers a chance to share their work while attendees gather for conversation and refreshments. First Friday is free and open to the public.
Presenters on May 4 include Kenedi Kelley and Chelsea Turner, spoken-word piece; a selection from the Mike Brown Jazz Trio; Devin Peterson with visual art; Aurora Adams, original poetry and Logan Stacer, spoken word and comedy. In between these performers, the stage will be open to the audience to share their talents.
