Morrison Family Center for Student Well-Being offering Adulting 101 Workshops this spring

The Morrison Family Center for Student Well-Being is bringing back its Adulting 101 series. This spring, Adulting 101: Graduate Edition will incorporate four workshop programs, each designed to prepare graduating or outgoing students for their first professional careers following the completion of their degree. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

These hands-on workshops will be offered starting on Tuesday, March 8, with the semester's first session, Battling Imposter Syndrome, at the Davis Theater in the Berney Family Welcome Center. The following is the spring 2022 session schedule:

  • Session 1: Battling Imposter Syndrome — March 8, 3:30 p.m. at the Davis Theater, Berney Family Welcome Center | Cheryl Rauh, TRIO McNair Scholars program manager.
  • Session 2: Day One — You're Hired! Now What?! — March 29, 3:30 p.m. at the Davis Theater, Berney Family Welcome Center | Jodi Kaus, director of Powercat Financial.
  • Session 3: Demystifying the Job Search During a Pandemic — April 7, 3:30 p.m. in the Davis Theater, Berney Family Welcome Center | Shanna Legleiter, associate vice president in Human Capital Services.
  • Session 4: Self-Care for Young Professionals — April 21, 3:30 p.m. in the Davis Theater, Berney Family Welcome Center | Adam Carr, project administrator, Division of Multicultural Student Affairs.
