Submit a presentation proposal for Summer Academic Advising Institute

Do you have an advising best practice you would like to share with your colleagues? Perhaps you have expertise about a special student population or experience building trust with students. If so, please consider submitting a proposal to present a 45-50 minute session at the Summer Academic Advising Institute on May 18.
Proposals forms are due by 5 p.m. Monday, April 17.
The Planning Committee seeks presentations relevant to novice or experienced academic advisors as well as graduate program advisors. Based on feedback from previous institutes and data collected from the advising community, there is demand for topics focused on supporting students in crisis, understanding different student subpopulations and building advisor confidence in engaging across differences.
