K-Staters to present 'Pathways to Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050'

The Zoom program on "Pathways to Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050" will take place from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. All who are interested are invited to participate. 

The event is part of the World-Wide Teach-In on Climate and Justice with leadership by Bard College and is part of the CHE 670 Sustainability Seminar at K-State.

Those interested in participating in the Zoom event should register online.

• 5:10 p.m. — "Climate as a Global Commons," Gary Brase, professor of psychological sciences. 
• 5:25 p.m. — Education on Net Zero panel.
• 5:45 p.m. — Transition to Renewable Energy panel.
• 6:05 p.m. — Electrification of Transportation panel.
• 6:25 p.m. — Net Zero Buildings panel.
• 6:45 p.m. — general discussion.
• 6:55 p.m. — closing comments.
• 7 p.m. — end.
