International Student and Scholar Services names scholarship winners
International Student and Scholar Services coordinates the awarding of multiple scholarships open to the international student community at Kansas State University.
The International Student Scholarship Committee was composed of representatives from multiple areas of campus. The committee has selected 13 students for six different scholarships awarded for the fall 2023 semester.
"As in other years, the scholarship competition was very competitive," said Sara Thurston, director of International Student and Scholar Services. "We thank the students for taking time to prepare their applications and the recommenders for spending time on nomination letters."
This year's scholarship recipients:
Chibuzor Mirian Azubuike, International Student Center scholarship; Sachin Dhanda, Office of International Programs scholarship; Diego Andres Lopez Diaz, International Student Center scholarship; Marzieh Ebrahimi, International Student Center scholarship; Kuan-Lun Ho, Joe Tiao International Student scholarship; Yoonha Ju, Do Sup Chung scholarship; Larissa Alves Koulicoff, International Student Center scholarship; Asmita Mahara, William L. Richter scholarship; Xatyiswa Maqashalala, International Student Center scholarship; Christian Mugisha, International Student Center scholarship; Julia Robbe, International Student Center scholarship; Eliza Shrestha, International Student Center scholarship; and Kennedyund Kipkirui Too, Philip and Jeune Kirmser scholarship.
