K-State hires next director of student life communication and parent engagement
The Division of Student Life announces Kevin Cook as the director of student life communication and parent engagement. The director is the primary liaison with the university community and constituents on behalf of the Division of Student Life.
Cook will provide coordination of communication and collaborations within the division, across the university and externally. Additionally, his leadership of the Parents and Family Program will provide an inclusive environment for all students and their families where all feel welcomed, supported and empowered.
Cook brings many years of experience through his work in various roles with on-campus housing at K-State and other institutions. These roles allowed him to support students and families, engage in strategic collaborations and partnerships, and hone communication, marketing and outreach efforts.
He will officially begin this role on April 16.
