National search for vice president for communications and marketing resumes

The Office of the President has resumed the national search for the vice president for communications and marketing at Kansas State University. Executive search firm WittKieffer will continue to support the search committee with the process. Kenny Lannou, executive associate athletics director for communications and public relations of K-State Athletics, serves as the search committee chair.

The vice president for communications and marketing serves as the chief communications officer for K-State, providing senior leadership for university branding and marketing, communications, and public relations that advance the university's core values and reflect its identity as a next-generation land-grant university. This position leads and manages the Division of Communications and Marketing, reports to the senior vice president for executive affairs, university engagement and partnerships, and chief of staff, and serves on the president's cabinet.
