Submit a presentation proposal for the Winter Advising Institute
The Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs is now accepting presentation proposals for the upcoming Winter Academic Advising Institute. The institute will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, in the K-State Student Union. Program sessions will run concurrently for 50 minutes each.
This is an opportunity to present to both professionals with academic advising opportunities as well as academic success professionals. Topics of interest from past feedback include, but are not limited to, relational skills, best uses of technology, working with specific student populations, advisor self-care, and university-specific practices and programs.
Please submit your presentation proposals by 5 p.m. on Dec. 11. More information is also available on the Advising Institute website.
