Plans for Valentine's Day? Consider Habitat for Humanity's gala

Submitted by Brandon Savage

Faculty and students of K-State are invited to the "Home is Where the Heart Is" gala, an evening hosted by the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity. The gala will take place on Valentine's Day evening at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan.

Celebrate the extraordinary contributions of K-State's College of Architecture, Planning & Design students. Their innovative designs have been integral to our recent home builds, demonstrating the practical impact of their education and the power of community-focused design. The gala will offer an opportunity for the wider K-State community to recognize and appreciate the talents and hard work of these young professionals and the organization's mission.

Your presence will support the mission of building affordable homes in our community. Enjoy dinner, wine and live music from the Thundering Cats Big Band, while contributing to a noble cause. Optional ballroom dance instruction from Manhattan Ballroom Dance Company also will be available.

Tickets are available online. Join us in making a difference — one home and one student project at a time.
