As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the university will test the K-State Alerts system following the statewide tornado siren test at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6.
The test will include emails, text messages for those who have opted in, automated phone calls, push notifications through the Rave Guardian mobile app, university websites, digital signs, Alertus beacons, and posts on Facebook and X.
Following the test, a survey will be distributed to K-State Alerts users via email to evaluate the effectiveness of the test.
