Administrator's Group

Purpose

The purpose of the Registrar Leadership  Group is to proactively identify issues and items of action and/or concern to the Office of the Registrar and any of its customers, and to determine how best to address those items and/or concerns accurately, effectively, efficiently, and ethically. The Leadership Group meets bi-weekly, and/or as needed. It is comprised of the Associate and Assistant Registrar’s, and is chaired by the University Registrar.

Annual Report Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Annual Report Committee is publishing a yearly report of the office’s accomplishments. This committee has 6 standing members and 1 rotating member who is the office employee of the year.

Emergency Preparedness Committee

Purpose

Maintain and update the documentation on the w-drive dealing with handling real or potential disasters which may affect students, staff, guests or property of the office or university.

Purpose

The purpose of the Marketing Committee is marketing the services provided by the office. This committee has 5 standing members.

 Newsletter Committee

Purpose

Create and publish a newsletter at the beginning of each term in an effort to regularly disseminate key Office of the Registrar information to constituents in academic deans’ offices and academic departmental offices.

Recognition/Employee of the Year Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Recognition/Employee of the Year Committee is reviewing nominations and selecting the University Support Staff employee of the year for the office. This committee rotates each year and is comprised of 2 Registrar Leadership staff and 3 University Support Staff (who are previous winners of the award).  This also includes structured recognition for the Office of the Registrar to allow any staff member to nominate a fellow staff member for going above and beyond daily job responsibilities and overseeing the nominations and maintain the Office of the Registrar Recognition board.

Purpose

Organize activities, both in-office and off campus, designed to create/maintain positive office morale and facilitate personal interactions with co-workers. Responsible for annual holiday party.

Strategic Planning Committee

The purpose of the Strategic Planning Committee is to develop a three-year Strategic Plan (2017-2020) for the Office of the Registrar including specific goals and measurement of the same.

Supervisor's and Leadership (Administrator's) Group

Purpose

The purpose of the Supervisor's and Leadership (Administrator's) Group (SAM) is to review the activities and initiatives of each of the administrative units within the Office of the Registrar. If it is determined that items of action and/or concern to the office and any of its customers needs to be further addressed, then those determinations can be made by this Group in an appropriate and/or collaborative manner. SAM meets monthly, and/or as needed. It is comprised of six supervisors and six administrators, and is chaired by the University Registrar.
