Rules of Procedure
The governing document of Kansas State University Social Club which shall be modified only by voting membership (last revised 2013).
An amendment to the Rules of Procedure is presented for an approval vote to Social Club members in Spring 2020 for consideration via the Social Club membership listserv; an approval vote was scheduled to occur during the annual meeting on April 15, 2020; however, due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, this meeting was canceled and the vote shall take place via a Qualtrics survey. The proposed amendment is to change the following sections to read as follows:
MEMBERSHIP
Current Eligibility Description:
Section 1 Membership in the Kansas State University Social Club is open to any of the following and/or their spouses: administrative officers, administrative assistants, faculty members of the rank of instructor or above, including visiting and regents professors and post-doctoral fellows, commissioned officers in the Military Science and Aerospace Departments, director and assistant directors of athletics, coaches and assistant coaches, government personnel with equivalent faculty rank working in conjunction with the university, and former faculty members in the above named categories.

Section 3 Courtesy Membership shall be accorded to housemothers and house parents.
Proposed Eligibility Description:
Section 1 Membership in the Kansas State University Social Club is open to any of the following and/or their spouses/partners: All current, former, and retired employees of Kansas State University as well as its affiliate organizations (e.g., the K-State Alumni Association, the KSU Foundation, K-State Athletics, etc.).

Section 3 Courtesy Membership shall be accorded to fraternity and sorority house directors.
