Session Types
Paper Sessions
Paper sessions will consist of five presentations with each presentation allotted 20 minutes (including questions and discussion). All student-submitted entries will automatically be considered for regional student paper competitions. Special sessions are welcome. Organizers of special sessions should contact Maria Lane (mdlane@unm.edu) or Shawn Hutchinson (shutch@ksu.edu) for coordination.
- 5 presentation per session
- 20 minutes per paper (time includes presentation and discussion)
- Presenters must furnish their own computers/laptops
- Digital projectors will be provided in each meeting room
Poster Sessions
Materials, both textual and visual, should be of professional quality and be clearly legible from a distance of four feet. Posters designed with dimensions of 48 inches in width and 36 inches in height are recommended. Neither poster width nor height may exceed 48 inches. Text should be limited to brief statements. All student-submitted entries will automatically be considered for regional student poster competitions.
- Posters are exhibited for informal browsing with opportunities for discussion with authors
- 10 to 30 posters per session
- Recommended poster size is 48" wide by 36" high
Audiovisual Equipment
Rooms for paper sessions will be equipped with standard A/V equipment including screens, projectors, and A/V cables. Participants must provide their own computers and any specialized equipment or connectors necessary to connect to a standard A/V cable.
