Register for 2025 Winter Advising Institute
The Division of Academic Success and Student Affairs' department of academic and career engagement will host the 2025 Winter Advising Institute from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Leadership Studies Building.
Advising institutes provide an opportunity for professional development focusing on academic success at K-State and connection within the advising community. This institute's focus will be on priorities stemming from the advisor needs analysis conducted earlier this fall. Topics include student development, characteristics and needs of student populations, trauma-informed advising and more. All advisors — primary role and faculty, new and experienced — are encouraged to attend.
Online registration for the institute is now open. A light breakfast and hot lunch will be provided. A Zoom link will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
