Participate in interdisciplinary discussion on broadband efforts
Submitted by Office of Engagement
Reliable broadband access has become essential for driving innovation and economic growth and enhancing quality of life in rural and urban communities. As a leading research institution, Kansas State University is poised to play a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide, leveraging its expertise in research, education and community outreach.
Broadband connectivity impacts multiple critical sectors. To inform the development of a comprehensive strategic plan, the university will convene an interdisciplinary discussion, seeking insights from faculty and staff across disciplines. This discussion will explore the intersections of broadband with various areas of work, fostering a collaborative approach to advancing broadband-related initiatives.
Participation opportunities:
- In-person discussion: Jan. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Flint Hills Room, K-State Student Union.
- Virtual discussion: Jan. 22 from 10-11 a.m.
Registration is required for both sessions. All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives on broadband-related initiatives.
