Call for fall 2025 session proposals for K-State's AI Symposium

Submitted by Raelynne Hale

The K-State AI Symposium: Humans and the Machine is welcoming session proposals for the fall 2025 symposium, Oct. 14-16.

Sessions at the symposium can be 60 or 90 minutes. Sessions can include roundtables, panels, a series of speakers on a joint theme, discussion and brainstorming sessions, demonstration sessions or hands-on workshops. To propose and run a session, please complete the session proposals form by May 5.

This year, the "K-State AI Symposium: Humans and the Machine" will take place Oct. 14-16 in Hale Library. This three-day event provides an opportunity for the K-State and Manhattan communities to deepen their understanding of AI. Participants will learn about AI research and its applications across various disciplines, as well as explore how AI can be utilized for educational purposes.

For questions about the form or the symposium, please contact Raelynne Hale at raehale@k-state.edu. The symposium is organized by K-State Libraries, the Department of Modern Languages, and the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
