Office of the Registrar to host 100-year anniversary celebration Oct. 24
Please join us from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, in 201 Anderson Hall in commemorating the registrar's office 100-year anniversary.
The registrar's office was officially established in 1913 and has served as the custodian of academic records since that time. Prior to 1913, the duties of the registrar were completed by a university staff member holding the title secretary to the faculty. Over the past century, the office has been involved in the digitalization of student records and enrollment, the increase of student population from approximately 3,000 to 23,000, and the institutional evolution from an agricultural college to a university of agriculture and applied sciences housing nine unique colleges offering more than 250 undergraduate and 100 graduate degrees. Please join our office in celebrating this history with light refreshments.
