President of Delta Upsilon International Fraternity to speak tonight at K-State's chapter
K-State alumnus and the President of Delta Upsilon International Fraternity, Bernard Franklin, will speak about leadership and self-development to the K-State chapter at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4. This event is open to the public.
Franklin received his bachelor’s degree in political science and doctorate in counseling and student personal services from K-State. He was an active member of K-State's Delta Upsilon chapter during his years as an undergraduate.
Along with his duties as the fraternity president, Franklin is president of Junior Achievement of Middle America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing business, economics and life-skills programs to K-12 students.
"The men of DU are very excited to welcome back Dr. Franklin to speak at his alma mater. His advice and insights are invaluable,” said Ryan Knight, president of Delta Upsilon at K-State.
