Orientation leaders selected for summer 2014
Several K-State students have been selected as orientation leaders for the summer orientation and enrollment program, assisting new students and their families.
K-State orientation leaders inform new students about resources, services, activities and facilities available at the university through large and small group sessions. Orientation leaders participate in training sessions during the spring semester and early summer, fine-tuning their knowledge of services and resources on campus, developing interactive presentations for new students and learning leadership skills.
The orientation leaders are:

- Hope Faflick, junior in political science, international studies and pre-law from Wichita
- Landon Leiker, junior in communication studies from Marion
- Dominique Robinson, junior in public relations from Olathe
- Emma Barnett, freshman in political science/international studies from Hutchinson
- Shunyce Battles, freshman in psychology and Spanish from Kansas City, Kan.
- Samuel Edwards, freshman in public relations from Olathe
- Paul Edwards, sophomore in kinesiology from Dallas
- Mohri Exline, freshman in biochemistry from Salina
- Abigail Hammack, sophomore in public relations from Woodway, Texas
- Faith Loepp, junior in communication science disorders, speech pathology from Overland Park
- Paige Nickell, freshman in open option from St. George
- Bret Niese, sophomore in accounting and finance from Lenexa
- Gregory Rieber, freshman in business from Orange, Calif.
- Emily Ruder, junior in communication studies from Plainville
- Steven Scott, sophomore in interior architecture and product design from Lenexa
- Abby Steiner, freshman in accounting from McPherson
- Cody Watson, freshman in architectural engineering from Solomon
