Three finalists to be interviewed for vice president for research
The search committee for the vice president for research has invited three candidates for on-campus interviews.
Russell Mumper will visit March 26-28.
James Tracy will visit March 30 through April 1.
Karen Burg will visit April 1-3.
Each candidate will participate in a public forum and those are scheduled for the following dates and times:
Mumper: 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, March 27, in the K-State Student Union Little Theater
Tracy: 3-4:30 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the K-State Student Union Little Theater
Burg: 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in the K-State Student Union Little Theater
The topic for the open fora will be: "Theme 1 of K-State 2025: The Vision for Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity and Discovery at Kansas State University."
For those unable to attend in person, the presentations will be streamed live and archived for viewing later. The link for the public forum will be activated just before the scheduled start time and is posted on the president's website with the full schedules, application materials for each candidate and the survey to provide feedback on each candidate.
