Saxophone professor, pianist, graduate students perform at the North American Saxophone Alliance National Convention

Anna Marie Wytko, saxophonist; Amanda Arrington, staff pianist; and graduate students Christopher Gugel, master's degree student of music in saxophone; and Robert Roth, master's degree student of music in composition, performed at the national convention of the North American Saxophone Alliance March 20–23 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Wytko and Arrington presented K-State faculty composer, Craig Weston's "Intensity 8.5" in addition to a premiere by French composer Anthony Girard. Gugel, Roth and Wytko presented the world premiere performance of Roth's "Mass for Two Saxophones and Cantor." Roth is a composition student of Weston.
