Beach Museum director announces retirement
Lorne Render, director of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, has announced his plans to retire this summer. Lorne has served as director for the last 12 years.
"Lorne has been a tremendous leader on campus and in the community," said K-State President Kirk Schulz. "He will forever be remembered for his dedication to the arts. We appreciate the direction he has set for the Beach Museum, and we wish him well in his retirement."
A national search will be conducted to identify the next Beach Museum director. Watch for an announcement regarding a retirement reception for Lorne.
