Submitted by Audrey Taggart-Kagdis

Union entrance

Workshop Architects, the firm selected to create the K-State Student Union renovation architectural program, has been working since September 2013 to gather information, feedback and ideas from the K-State community, as well as conduct several vision tours of other college unions.

The firm's final report will be shared at an open meeting at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the Little Theatre on the Union's first floor.

Data was collected through focus groups, interviews and surveys, and presented throughout the semester to the Union Renovation Committee. Goals, design objectives and key strategies have been identified and were used to create the renovation floor plans and concepts of the project.

For additional information, contact Union director Bill Smriga at smriga@k-state.edu or 785-532-6591.
