Logan presents at Mechanical and Electrical Faculty Boot Camp
For the fourth year in a row, Tom Logan, Kansas State University associate professor of architectural engineering and construction science, served as a presenter and instructor at the Mechanical and Electrical Faculty Boot Camp. This year's event was hosted by the Pittsburg State University School of Construction, June 10-12, in Pittsburg.
The Mechanical Contracting Education and Research Foundation and the National Electrical Contractors Association provide financial support for the program where university construction management faculty, who teach mechanical and electrical construction in their respective programs, are trained in the area of mechanical and electrical construction management.
Twenty faculty members from 17 universities across the country participated in the three-day event. Topics covered included mechanical properties, mechanical systems, power distribution, and lighting systems.
Including Logan from K-State, instructors were faculty members from Ferris State, Northern Kentucky, Auburn and the University of Nebraska, as well as officials from the research foundation and the association.
