Hiller leads students on apparel, textiles study tour to New York
Kim Hiller, associate professor in the College of Human Ecology, led a group of 20 undergraduate students in apparel and textiles on a weeklong study tour to New York City this summer.
During the week the group visited 12 fashion industry-related companies, including many apparel manufacturers and brands, Harper's Bazaar fashion magazine, and one of the leading trend forecasting companies.
The study tour also included a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art where the students were able to see the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" exhibit.
