Miller School, public health program receive national accreditations

Two Kansas State University educational programs have received accreditation.
The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications has accredited Kansas State University's A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The school's accreditation is for five years, with the next site visit during the 2019-2020 academic year. The accrediting council is the agency responsible for the evaluation of professional journalism and mass communications programs in colleges and universities.
The Council on Education for Public Health has accredited Kansas State University's Master of Public Health program. The program's accreditation is for five years, with the next site visit scheduled in 2019. The Council on Education for Public Health is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs offered in settings other than schools of public health. These schools and programs prepare students for entry into careers in public health.
