University Advising Committee announces grant recipients
The University Advising Committee announces the recipients of its inaugural Professional Development Grant program.
The recipients who are receiving $700 each to facilitate participation in advising-related conferences are:
- Brohgan Dieker, Office of International Admissions and Recruiting, will attend the National Academic Advising Association's annual conference;
- Brandie Disberger, communications and agricultural education department, will attend the National Academic Advising Association's annual conference;
- Pamela Erickson, College of Human Ecology professional mentoring program, will attend the University of New Mexico Mentoring Institute;
- Eve McCulloch, Division of Biology, will attend the National Academic Advising Association's annual conference; and
- Dana Reinert, K-State Olathe, will attend the National Academic Advising Association's annual conference.
Thanks to all who applied, to National Academic Advising Association for waiving registration fees for the aforementioned K-Staters, and to the selection committee composed of Brad Cunningham, Leena Chakrabarti, Tanya Gonzalez and Carla Jones.
The next round of funding, which all faculty and staff will be eligible to apply, will be announced later this fall.
