Office of Pre-law Advising hosts 60 law schools at Law Fair

Submitted by Daralyn Gordon Arata

Kansas State University's Law Fair is from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at the Alumni Center Ballroom.

The Law Fair began six years ago with five regional law schools. This week we will welcome more than 60 law schools from across the United States. This is an incredible gathering of schools and is certainly a testament to the quality of our students. We are just coming off an admission year where our students placed very well, achieving admission and scholarships to a wide range of excellent law schools.

It is difficult and expensive for our students to travel and visit the variety of law schools that they will be exposed to at the fair. It is open to students from every college and all majors. The schools visiting our campus this year range from Vermont to Florida, California to the Pacific Northwest, and everywhere in between.

Take some time to stop by on Friday, come see the fair, and greet the students and law school representatives. Thank you for your assistance in making the Law Fair a great success.
