McDiffett hired as benefits director
As a continuation of providing the Kansas State University a status report about the Division of Human Capital Services restructure, Amanda McDiffett has been appointed as benefits director.
McDiffett is an alumnus of K-State University and attained a bachelor's degree in personal financial planning. She currently is pursuing a master's degree in organizational leadership at Baker University.
McDiffett currently serves as the human resource manager for the College of Veterinary Medicine. In this role she brings customer centric service to employees by ensuring the appropriate human relations solutions meet their needs.
As the benefits director, McDiffett will be charged with providing strategic and tactical leadership in the area of benefit administration and communications as Kansas State University transforms itself into an efficient, effective and integrated university with a focus on human capital. She will be responsible for the ongoing innovative and progressive ways to meet the needs of prospective hires and employees as it relates to our total rewards program.
McDiffett will provide leadership to transform benefit delivery into a customer centric service that maximizes the accessibility of benefit communications. She will work collaboratively with the Division of Human Capital Services' peers and stakeholders to develop and implement total rewards solutions to propel the university toward K-State 2025 goals.
McDiffett will transfer to the division Nov. 3.
