Learn about the services available at K-State's CARE office
The Center for Advocacy Response and Education, or CARE, provides a safe, confidential and affirming place for any member of the K-State community who has experienced sexual violence, dating violence, stalking or harassment. The center actively works to educate the campus community about the spectrum of violence and how to proactively engage as bystanders to prevent acts of violence and support survivors.
The list of services provided include:
- direct confidential crisis support for students, faculty or staff;
- advocacy for on and off campus protective measures, academic remedies, and other support services;
- advocacy and support during interactions with law enforcement;
- provide referrals to campus and community resources; and
- provide education programs on the spectrum of violence, consent and bystander intervention;
