Deadline Dec. 1 for International Fellowships for women students and postdocs
Applications are now being accepted for 2015-16 American Association of University Women's International Fellowships to support women pursuing full-time graduate or postdoctoral study or research in the United States who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Award amounts for one-year fellowships are: master's/first professional degree, $18,000; doctoral, $20,000; and postdoctoral, $30,000. The application deadline is Dec. 1. Apply online.
The American Association of University Women, or AAUW, is the nation’s largest sources of private funding for educational programs for women, providing nearly $4 million annually. The International Fellowships program has been in existence since 1917. The program now includes women from around the world. International Fellowships have been awarded to more than 3,300 women from more than 130 nations.
Other upcoming funding opportunities through AAUW include Career Development Grants, deadline Dec. 15; Selected Professions Fellowships, deadline Jan. 10, 2015; and Community Action Grants, deadline Jan. 15, 2015.
