Inline hockey league games on campus
The K-State Inline Hockey Club will be hosting an interregional hockey competition Saturday and Sunday at the Peters Recreation Complex. The club is inviting teams from the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain conferences of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association. These games will be in the MAC gym, and are free to the public.
Here is the schedule:
Saturday, Nov. 8
10 a.m., Kansas State versus Lindenwood University
11 a.m., Missouri University of Science and Technology versus Central Missouri
Noon, Lindenwood University versus Colorado
1 p.m., Kansas State versus Missouri University of Science and Technology
2 p.m., Missouri State versus Lindenwood University
3 p.m., Kansas State versus Central Missouri
4 p.m., Missouri State versus Colorado
5 p.m., Lindenwood University versus Missouri University of Science and Technology
6 p.m., Colorado versus Central Missouri
Sunday, Nov. 9
8 a.m., Central Missouri versus Missouri State
9 a.m., Missouri University of Science and Technology versus Colorado
10 a.m., Kansas State versus Missouri State
These are the only league games to be played in Manhattan this season. Most of the club games are played in St. Louis and Denver. The K-State Inline Hockey Club currently has a 2-1 record good for third place in the Great Plains Conference.
The Inline Hockey Club was formed in 1995 and has been to the National Invitational Tournament in 2001, 2002, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Our best finish was Final Four in both 2001 and 2012. For more information about the club, contact Coach Jerry at hockey@k-state.edu.
